We produce labels on rolls in two different ways. Labels on rolls each lane of labels will be supplied on its own roll. This starting price is $120 + GST which includes free shipping anywhere in Australia. The second method is labels on 312mm rolls. This is a bulk product that has a lower starting price of $60 + GST which also includes free shipping anywhere in Australia.
The reason for the price difference is because we need to cut less cores for the bulk product and on smaller labels it can allow more labels for less material. Thus allowing a cheaper price.
At a higher level for labels on rolls we offer the product configured two different ways. Hand applied means the system will determine the best yeild, oritentantion and thus the cheapest price for a given size and quantiity of labels. The number of kinds we allow for any given size is dependant on how many lanes the system determines the job will be produces on. For hand applied the number of lanes can either be 1,2,3,4,5,6.
The width of the lanes are as follows:
1 lane - 312mm, 2 lanes - 156mm,3 - lanes 104mm, 4 lanes, 78mm, 5 lanes - 62.2mm, 6 lanes 52mm.
This allows us to precut the cores and have them ready.
If a job is only using one lane the number of kinds is a multiple of 1. So the number of kinds allowed is 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 and so on.
If the job is using 3 lanes then the number of kinds allowed is a multiple or 3 including 1, So for example 1,3,6,9,12,15,18 and so on.
If the job is using 6 lanes then the number of kinds allowed is a multiple of 6 including 1. So for example 1,6,12,18,24 and so on.
The number of kinds allowed for any job is X. This is because if the label quantity is low the packaging can become big for a small job where then the free shipping allowed becomes to great for the job.
