🔍 What is it?

Digitally printed labels on self-adhesive rolls, designed for application with or without automated applicators. These are suitable for short-to-medium runs and can be customized in shape, finish, core size, and orientation.

⏱️ Standard Turnaround Time

• 3 business days from artwork approval and payment (if on prepay)

• Faster turnaround possible with rush fee (internal note: check production load)

🕛 Cut-Off Time for Next Day Production

• 12:00 PM (noon) is the daily cut-off

• Jobs submitted after 12:00 PM may still be accepted until 12:20 PM with grace

• Jobs must have correct artwork uploaded — not drafts or placeholders

🎯 Product Options

• Shapes: Rectangle, square, circle, oval, custom cut (die cut or laser cut)

• Finishes: Gloss laminate, matte laminate, no laminate

• Adhesives: Standard permanent, removable, freezer-grade (on request)

• Core Sizes: 25mm, 40mm, 76mm (standard is 76mm unless specified)

• Winding Direction: 8 options (used for machine application – must confirm with client)

• Max Roll Outer Diameter: ~200mm (varies with quantity and material)

🎨 Artwork Guidelines

• Submit print-ready PDFs (CMYK, no RGB)

• 2mm bleed on all sides

• Keyline must be on separate layer or named “CUT”

• 300 DPI minimum

• For clear or metallic labels, underprint (white ink) must be specified

• Internal note: If unclear, escalate to prepress for clarification

📦 Packaging & Shipping Notes

• Labels are shrink-wrapped in bundles

• Bulk packed in outer boxes with job ID and label name

• Core size is noted on box

• Add fragile label if clear stock is used (scratches easily)

• Can I get custom shapes? Yes, either laser cut or with a custom die (fees may apply).

• Can I apply them with my machine? Yes, we offer 8 winding directions and different core sizes for machine compatibility.

• Are they waterproof? Yes, synthetic stocks with laminate are waterproof and oil resistant.

• Can I get clear or silver labels? Yes — note that these cost more and turnaround may be longer.

🛠️ Internal Production Notes

• Printed on Konica Minolta label press

• Laser cut via Troika laser (max speed: 5m/min)

• Use batching logic for jobs with same stock, laminate, and cut

• Laminate before laser to reduce curl

• Use white ink base for clear stock

• Check tension settings on clear poly to prevent misfeeds

⚠️ Common Issues

• Winding direction not confirmed = delays

• Artwork missing bleed or cut layer

• Customer provides RGB files

• Clients unaware of laser burn marks on edge (explain upfront)

• If customer provides roll specs for machine application, attach spec sheet to job folder

• Watch for customer confusion between labels on rolls vs bulk labels on rolls (bulk = low cost, long rolls, minimal packing)
